How To Heat The Hot Tub

  1. Check the chamber: Open the combustion chamber and make sure it’s dry inside.
  2. Start the fire: Place a firelighter at the bottom and light it using kindling only.
  3. Build it up: Once the fire is burning well, add a few larger pieces of wood. Don’t overload the chamber.
  4. Cover: Place the lid back on, keeping the narrow side vent open for airflow.
  5. Retain heat: Place the floating blue bubble cover on the water to help it warm faster.
  6. Monitor: Check the fire now and then, adding 2–3 pieces of wood as needed.
  7. Heating time: The tub takes about 2 hours to reach temperature. Once warm, a single log or two every so often will maintain the heat.
  8. Safety: Avoid touching any metal parts beyond the submerged safety plate — the plate itself stays cool, but the rest can be extremely hot.
